My Beloved Vampire-Cat

Thomas sat alone on a park bench on a full-moon August night, he'd been thinking about the girl of his dreams Samantha, the beautiful vampire-cat demon that he'd fallen head-over-heels with. He sighed and gazed up at the moon when he heard approaching footsteps, he looked up and saw Samantha coming towards him, her black hair blowing in the breeze which also ruffled his brown hair. "Hello Samantha." Thomas greeted politely "Hello Thomas, what are you doing out here alone?" Sam asked sitting beside him, "I was waiting for you" he replied softly, Sam smiled at Thomas as she looked into those sparkling green eyes that she'd fallen into so many times before. She loved the fact that such a handsome man existed on this Earth, but Thomas wasn't a human…he was a vampire, just like she was a vampire-cat demon. As Sam thought about the many times she and Thomas had been together and did things that a "normal" human couple would do (Like go to movies, go out to dinner, to concerts and dances ect.) she failed to notice Thomas putting his arm around her in a gentle hug, "Did I tell you I love you today Sam?" Thomas asked as he leaned his head sideways inhaling the scent of her shampoo that she always used, "I think you did this morning…" Sam said looking down and blushing at the comment, Thomas smiled gently and raised her face to meet his, "Then let me say it again, I love you Sam.", standing up he said "And I want to prove it." Sam stood up and her 5.2 fame met with her 6 ft. boyfriend's  chest, Thomas tipped her head  up gently and leaning down slightly his warm lips met hers in a long romantic kiss, the kiss seemed to last forever, but really it lasted for only five minutes. As the couple parted Sam yawned, she was tired from a night of feeding, Thomas chuckled and picked her up in his arms and carried her to her home, before falling into the black oblivion of sleep, Sam heard Thomas tenderly whisper "I love you my beloved vampire-cat." "I love you too Thomas." she mumbled back and her last conscious feeling was warm lips on her in a good night kiss before sleep took the vampire-cat into sweet dreams of her and her vampire lover.
